MADD recognizes Orange Police Officers

On Wednesday Connecticut Mothers Against Drunk Driving held its 26th annual Law Enforcement Recognition Ceremony at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven. The ceremony is held each year to honor Officers and Troopers across the State for their efforts towards prevention of alcohol related crashes and enforcement of drunk driving laws. The Keynote speaker this year was Edmund H. Hedge, Jr. the Law Enforcement Liaison, Office of Highway Safety, Connecticut Department of Transportation. The Orange Police Department this year had two officers recognized. Officer Jeffrey Platek and Officer Michael Luzzi received certificates recognizing their commitment and contributions to eliminate drunk driving.
